Mark Tauscher

Mark Tauscher has been a football lover his whole life, growing up in Marshfield, Wisconsin in the late 1970’s and early ‘80’s. Tauscher was both a football and basketball star in high school and made the University of Wisconsin-Madison football team as a walk on in 1995. Although having a slow start to his college football career, Tauscher ultimately came out on top and was selected in the 2000 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Tauscher played the entirety of his professional football career, a total of ten years, with the Green Bay Packers. Throughout these ten years, he was a recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, a NFC Champion, and a Super Bowl Champion (XLV). Tauscher started 126 of the 134 games he played for the Packers and proudly represented number 65 as an offensive tackle. After being released by Green Bay on July 29, 2011, Tauscher took up a career in sports broadcasting for the Packers radio network as well as the Wisconsin Badgers football radio network. Outside of his love for the game of football, Tauscher also has a love for helping people. He is the founder of the Trifecta Foundation, which stands for Tauscher's Reading Initiative for Every Child to Achieve.
