About Marv Marinovich
Marv Marinovich began his career in football in college as a player for Santa Monica College. In his first season Marv gave the team the boost it needed to go undefeated and win the 1958 national junior college championship. Marinovich then moved on to play for the University of Southern California where he once again led the team as a captain on the way to the 1962 National Championship. As a passionate player whenever he was on the field, Marv was even voted by his teammates as the programs Most Inspirational Player. While Marv was selected in the 1962 Draft, he only played in one NFL game before he hung up his helmet to become one of the NFL's first ever strength and conditioning coaches. Throughout the years he has gained a reputation as a trainer that has left athletes like Troy Polamalu, Tyson Chandler, and Jason Giambi advocating for his work.
