About Mason Taylor
Mason Taylor is a star tight end for the New York Jets, selected 42nd overall in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The three-star recruit from St. Thomas Aquinas High School committed to LSU in 2021, choosing the Tigers over Miami and Florida State. A redshirt freshman standout in 2022 (22 catches, 282 yards, 1 TD), Taylor set LSU tight end records with 129 career receptions and 1,308 yards (2022–24). His 2024 junior season exploded with 55 catches for 546 yards and 2 TDs, earning Freshman All-SEC (2022) and Mackey Award finalist honors. He is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Jason Taylor and nephew of Hall of Famer Zach Thomas.
