About Mauro Ranallo
Mauro Ranallo is a commentator for World Wrestling Entertainment. He is a play-by-play voice for SmackDown, 205 Live and SmackDown pay-per-view events. He became the lead voice of SmackDown in January 2016 when the show moved to USA Network. Ranallo is also known for his work outside of wrestling. He has been a popular voice for mixed martial arts organizations like Pride Fighting Championships, Elite XC and Strikeforce. Ranallo has worked Showtime Championship Boxing events as well. He has been an avid wrestling fan since the age of five and has worked towards a broadcasting career since he was 16. In 2015, Wrestling Observer Newsletter named him "Best Television Announcer."
