About Max Meyer
Max Meyer hopes to anchor the Miami Marlins rotation for years to come after being the third overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft. Meyer was a key contributor for three years at the University of Minnesota, starting out as the team's closer as a freshman. He was named a Freshman All-American that first year and tied a school record with 16 saves. Meyer was a second-team All-Big Ten pick as a sophomore, racking up a 5-3 record, 2.11 ERA and 87 strikeouts. During his college career, he also had two dominant summers pitching for the U.S. Collegiate National Baseball Team.
