About Michael Fulmer
Michael Fulmer is one of the most promising young starting pitchers in baseball. He made his major league debut in 2016, going 11-7 with a 3.06 ERA in 26 starts for the Detroit Tigers. Fulmer was named American League Rookie of the Year and finished tenth in Cy Young voting. He was an All-Star for the first time in 2017 after going 9-6 with 3.19 ERA over baseball's first half. The New York Mets originally selected Fulmer in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of Deer Creek High School. He was traded by the Mets to the Tigers in 2015. That season, he was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Year.
