Now a professional kicking coach, Michael Husted spent nine seasons in the NFL with four different franchises. Husted hit on 71 percent of his field goals during that time. The first six years of his career were with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he was the franchise’s all-time leading scorer upon his departure. Husted was valued in the league for his power on kickoffs as well. He went undrafted out of the University of Virginia and was a two-time All-State kicker at Hampton High School. In his post-playing days, Husted has been an entrepreneur and founded the National Camp Series of kicking camps. The camps evaluate kickers of different ages through an advanced ratings system.
