About Mike Krukow
Mike Krukow had a lengthy pitching career, but he is now best known as a seven-time Emmy award-winning broadcaster for the San Francisco Giants. Krukow started full-time with KNBR Radio in 1994 and now forms the popular TV broadcast team with Duane Kuiper. As a pitcher, he won 124 games in 14 big league seasons. Krukow originally started with the Chicago Cubs and pitched a season with the Philadelphia Phillies, but really had his best years with the Giants. In 1986, he made the National League All-Star team and finished 20-9 with a 3.05 ERA. Krukow ended up third in the Cy Young voting that season. The following season, he helped the Giants to their first division championship in 17 years.
