About Mike Maccagnan
Mike Maccagnan is the former general manager of the New York Jets. He was originally hired in 2015 and the Jets made the playoffs in his first season. Maccagnan previously spent 15 years in the Houston Texans organization. He was the coordinator of college scouting and then the assistant director of college scouting. Maccagnan began his career in the NFL as a scouting intern for the Washington Redskins in 1990. He then left to work in the World League of American Football. Maccagnan also spent time working in the Canadian Football League before returning to the Redskins in 1994.
