Moe Elewonibi

Moe Elewonibi is a former professional football player in the NFL and Canadian Football League. Unlike most other athletes who make it to the professional level of playing football, Moe did not begin to play football until his first year in college. In high school he was a standout star on the soccer and basketball team, but had no real desire to play football. He spent his collegiate career playing at Brigham Young University where he adapted to the game quickly and became very skilled as an offensive lineman, so much so that he was the recipient of the Outland Trophy. In 1990 Moe was selected as the 77th overall pick in the NFL Draft going to the Redskins. Throughout his career he moved back and forth between the NFL and CFL on various teams, and his production in the CFL earned him a CFL All-Star selection in 1998. Elewonibi has since hung up his helmet for the last time as a player after he retired from the game in 2005.
