About Mo'ne Davis

Mo’ne Davis captured national attention during the 2014 Little League World Series (LLWS) as the first girl to pitch a shutout and earn a win in LLWS history. Her dominant performance for the Taney Dragons made her a trailblazer and role model, earning her a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated. After Little League, Davis played softball at Hampton University and earned degrees from Hampton and Columbia University. She has worked as a broadcaster, interned with the Dodgers, and thrown out first pitches at several MLB games. In November 2025, she was selected 10th overall by the Los Angeles team in the inaugural Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL) draft and is set to play center field as the league launches in 2026.
