About Muffet McGraw
Prior to becoming a coach at the collegiate level for the Notre Dame basketball program, Muffet McGraw played basketball herself in college at St. Joseph's where she was a star player, as well as when she was a part of the California Dream where she led the team to success. After a few seasons as a player, she had already been coaching for a high school program and then moved on to be an assistant for her alma mater. Since then she has spent a few seasons as head coach at Lehigh but has been the head coach at Notre Dame since 1987. In her time she has racked up a 936-252 career record in route to leading her teams to nine Final Four appearances and two national championships. Some of her other accomplishments include being named Coach of the Year by various entities a total of 6 times in her career, including being named the AP COTY in 2014.
