Murphy Jensen

Murphy Jensen is a professional tennis player, as well as a coach of the Washington Kastles of World Team Tennis. He burst out onto the tennis scene when he and his brother Luke won the men’s doubles title at the French Open. Throughout his career he played almost exclusively in doubles competition where he went on to earn 4 career titles including that victory in the French Open in 1993 which helped propel him into the top 20 in the world rankings. Since retiring from the game as a player in 2006, he has begun a television and film career that includes appearances in films such as Wimbledon and Tennis, Anyone. On television he is the host of several shows on the Tennis Channel including Open Access and Murphy’s Guide. Since he still has a love and passion for tennis he has also gotten into coaching and helped lead the Washington Kastles team to success on the court.
