Nerlens Noel Speaker and Booking Agent Information

Nerlens Noel is a professional basketball center/power forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. Noel spent the first three seasons of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks. In college, he decided to attend the University of Kentucky in April 2012. Noel was well known for his elite shot blocking abilities, which caused fans and the media to have high expectations for him to fill the shoes of Anthony Davis, who had just led the Wildcats to a national Championship the previous season. On January 29, 2013, Noel set the UK single-game record with 12 blocks. The following month, Noel tore his ACL in his left knee during a game against the Florida Gators after blocking a Florida lay-up. Prior to his injury he was projected to be the 1st overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. Despite his injury, Noel entered the 2013 draft after one season with the Wildcats. On July 12, 2013, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Noel as the first overall draft pick. Noel signed with the 76ers on September 23, 2014 and he did not play during the 2013-14 season as he recovered from knee surgery. On October 29, 2014, Noel made his NBA debut against the Indiana Pacers.
