About Nick Faldo
Nick Faldo is one of the greatest sportsmen in the history of golf. Faldo was revered for his preparation and found himself ranked as the top player in the world for 97 weeks. He was a six-time major champion, capturing three Open Championship and three Masters Tournaments. Overall, Faldo boasts 41 professional victories with 30 of them coming on the European Tour. He was named European Tour Golfer of the Year three times and was a two-time Order of Merit winner. In 1990, Faldo was the PGA Tour Player of the Year. He also has a great legacy as perhaps the greatest European golfer of the modern era. Faldo boosted that resume by representing the continent on the Ryder Cup team a record 11 times. Even though he is several years removed from his playing career, an entirely new generation knows him as the lead golf analyst for CBS Sports, a position he first accepted in 2006.
