Peter Oosterhuis

Peter Oosterhuis is a longtime professional golfer and broadcaster. Oosterhuis is a recently retired analyst for CBS Sports and called the 17th hole at the Masters for 18 consecutive years. As a golfer, he had early success on the European Tour. Oosterhuis won seven times in Europe and captured four consecutive Order of Merit titles in the early 1970s. He then played full-time on the PGA Tour for 12 years and was victorious at the 1981 Canadian Open. His best finishes in a major was two runner-up showings at the British Open. The Englishman played in six straight Ryder Cups during his career. Prior to becoming a broadcaster, Oosterhuis spent seven years as the Director of Golf at two U.S. Country Clubs. His early commentating work came with the U.K. based Sky Sports and BBC as well as the Golf Channel. Oosterhuis currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
