About Nicole Briscoe
Nicole Briscoe is an American sports reporter. Prior to her career as a sports reporter, Briscoe was a cheerleader in high school with Danica Patrick in 1996. In 1998, Briscoe won the Miss Illinois Teen USA and she competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant in August 1998. Briscoe attended Northern Illinois University where she earned her first job for WREX-TV, the NBC station in Rockford. She also worked as a general assignment reporter for WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana before she went to WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana. While at WISH-TV, Briscoe covered the Indianapolis 500, the United States Grand Prix, the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, and the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. Briscoe was also a pit reporter for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network. Briscoe left WISH-TV on May 28, 2006 for Speed Channel in Charlotte, North Carolina. She became the co-host of The Speed Report and she replaced Connie LeGrand and hosted the show from July 1, 2006 to January 27, 2008. She left the show to become the new host of the daily news show NASCAR Now on ESPN2.
