About Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr. was one of the most dazzling wide receivers of his era. He attended LSU in college where he started 9 out of 14 games as a true freshman and was named a freshman All-SEC selection. As a sophomore, he started in 12 of 13 games. During his junior year, Beckham Jr. returned a failed field goal attempt for a recording 109 yards and a touchdown against UAB. Beckham Jr. was a first and second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection as he was the winner of the 2013 Paul Hornung Award. The New York Giants selected Beckham Jr. as the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Beckham Jr. made his debut on October 5, 2014 recording four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. On November 23, 2014, Beckham Jr. had 10 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns, including a one-handed touchdown reception hailed as the “catch of the year” against the Dallas Cowboys. Beckham Jr. sets the record for most ever receptions by an NFL rookie in a seven-game span with 62 catches.
