About Parker Messick
Parker Messick is a star pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians. A southpaw on the mound, he was drafted by the Guardians in the second round (54th overall) of the 2022 MLB Draft out of Florida State University. At FSU, Messick starred as a sophomore, earning ACC Pitcher of the Year honors in 2021 and multiple All-American nods. He dominated high school at Plant City HS, leading his team to a state championship with a 1.06 ERA and 125 strikeouts as a senior. Messick made his MLB debut on August 20, 2025. He has had a strong start to the 2026 season, showcasing elite command and strikeout ability against top competition. A devout Christian, he looks to be a rising star on and off the diamond.
