About Peter Tom Willis
Peter Tom Willis is a former quarterback, best known for his time with the Florida State Seminoles. Willis was perhaps the first quarterback in a legendary run for FSU. In 1989, he helped the Noles win ten straight, including a triumph over Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl. Willis set several single season team records in his only year as a starter. He was inducted into the Florida State University Sports Hall of Fame in 1998. Willis had a brief pro career with the Chicago Bears and the Arena Football League’s Tampa Bay Storm. In two seasons with the Storm, he threw for 9,490 yards and 176 touchdowns and was a second-team All-Arena pick in 1998. From 1998-2008 he served as a color analyst on the FSU Radio Network. Willis currently lives in Valrico, Florida and works as a industrial buyer at the Commercial Metals Company.
