Pierre Garcon

Pierre Garcon grew up in Florida and was a standout soccer and football player at John I. Leonard High School. During his freshman year in college he played wide receiver at Norwich University and caught 44 passes for an epic 1,017 yards and 13 touchdowns. The following year he transferred to Mount Union College and became one of the greatest receivers in NCAA Division III history. As a sophomore in 2005 he caught 68 passes for 1,196 yards and 16 touchdowns, and followed that up with 1,212 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior and 955 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. By the time he graduated from Mount Union in 2008 he had earned two Ed Sherman Awards as the Ohio Valley Conference’s top receiver and led the Purple Raiders to consecutive NCAA Div. III National Championships. In 2008 the Indianapolis Colts took notice of his talents and selected him in the 6th round of the NFL Draft. He would go on to play three seasons in Indianapolis before being traded to the Washington Redskins in 2012. In 2013 he led the NFL with 113 receptions, which is a Redskins franchise single season record. Thus far in his career he has accumulated 413 receptions, 5,250 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns. He is no doubt considered one of the elite wide receives in the National Football League today.
