About Randall Cunningham
After success in both high school and in college, Randall Cunningham made the jump to the NFL by becoming the 37th overall pick in the 1985 NFL Draft. Randall began to get more and more playing time at quarterback thanks to his ability and his fleet-footed scrambling style of play. He earned the spot permanently in the 1987 season where he went on to prove he deserved it. Randall racked up 4 Pro Bowl selections, where he was the MVP of the game in 1988. He also earned three NFL MVP Awards and NFC Player of the Year while playing for the Eagles. Several of the biggest honors Cunningham received were being named the 23rd greatest quarterback of the NFLs post-merger era and was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame. Since retiring from the game Randall returned to school to get his degree and has become a successful author and pastor.
