Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski is one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the National Football League. He played for the New England Patriots his entire nine-year pro career before coming out of retirement to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2020-21. Gronkowski was a five-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro while in New England. His impact on the Patriots was undeniable and he won three Super Bowls with the franchise. Gronk added a fourth Super Bowl championship with the Bucs following the 2020 season.

Gronkowski came up big on the grandest stage time and time again, holding postseason records for the most receiving yards and touchdowns by a tight end. He also ranks first for a tight end receiving yards and touchdowns in a single-season. In 2011, Gronkowski's 17 touchdown grabs made him the first player at his position to lead the league in that category. He is the Patriots all0time leader in receiving touchdowns as well.

While Gronkowski battled numerous injuries throughout his career, he also was great at persevering, as evidenced by being named the 2014 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Overall, he finished with 621 career receptions for 9,286 yards and 92 touchdowns.

New England originally selected him with the 42nd overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Arizona. In college, he set major tight end records for the Wildcats. Off the field, he has always been known for his infectious personality and variety of media and promotional appearances.
