About Ryan O'Reilly
Ryan O'Reilly is a star with the Toronto Maple Leafs. O'Reilly was traded to Toronto in 2023 after becoming a three-time NHL All-Star center for the St. Louis Blues. O'Reilly achieved the pinnacle of his hockey career in 2019 when he led the Blues to their first Stanley Cup win in 2019. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs after setting a franchise record with 23 postseason points. O'Reilly also scored the Blues first goal in each of their last four Stanley Cup Final games. The title-winning season was O'Reilly's first in St. Louis after spending three years with the Buffalo Sabres. In 2018, he set a record for most faceoffs won and was a finalist for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, given to the NHL's most gentlemanly player. O'Reilly was with the Sabres for three seasons but played the first six seasons of his career with the Colorado Avalanche. The Avalanche originally selected him in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
