Sam Mikulak

Sam Mikulak is a proud representative of the United States of America’s national gymnastics team. Mikulak was a seven-time NCAA champion and has been a member of the U.S. men’s gymnastics team since 2012, with a handful of medals to show for it. He was born in California in 1992 as the son of two former collegiate gymnasts that competed at the University of California, Berkeley years prior. While they influenced their son to take up the sport at a young age, he was competing as a member of the Junior National team by 2007. He later went on to enroll at the University of Michigan where he competed as a Wolverine for the men’s gymnastics team. Mikulak honorably became the first American member of the University of Michigan men’s artistic gymnastics team to quality for the Olympic games. He was later named the undergraduate assistant coach of his alma mater in 2014. In just three years, he earned two silver medals, two bronze medals and five gold medals. Three of the gold medals were earned in Hartford at the 2013 P&G Gymnastics Championships while two were earned in Pittsburgh at the 2014 P&G Gymnastics Championships. Mikulak continues to be a role model as he pushes himself and others to become the best that they can be.
