About Sandra Douglass Morgan
Sandra Douglass Morgan made history as the first black woman to serve as president of an NFL team when she was hired by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. Douglass Morgan is a Vegas lifer, having been born and raised in the city. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada and received her law degree from UNLV. Douglass Morgan was a defense attorney at the beginning of her career, prior to her roles as a litigation attorney for The Mirage and the city attorney for North Las Vegas. From 2016-19, she was the director of external affairs for AT&T Services.
Douglass Morgan has had posts with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, the Nevada Gaming Commission, and the Nevada Gaming Control Board. She was instrumental in the COVID-19 response, helping casinos close and safely reopen.
