Scott Fujita

Scott Fujita joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2002 as a fifth round pick out of the University of California. Despite his Japanese last name, Fujita is not of Japanese heritage. As a young child he was adopted and took his adoptive parents last name. He’d go on to make the Fujita name proud at the University of California by earning Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 honors in 2000 and 2001 and also earning Academic All-Pac-10 honors in 2001. In 2002 he joined the Chiefs as one of the best college linebacker prospects in the country and proved his worth during his two years in Kansas City. In 2005 he played one year with the Dallas Cowboys before heading to New Orleans and helping the Saints to a win in Super Bowl XLIV. Fujita retired with the Cleveland Browns in 2012 with 767 career tackles and 23.5 career sacks. He’s since joined the Fox Sports 1 network as an expert football analyst on the Fox Football Daily television show.
