Scott Reiss got his start as a sports and news anchor in Utica, New York after earning his degree in communications from Stanford University in 1993 and masters degree in sociology in 1994. In 1997 he became the sports director for KCOY-TV in Santa Maria, California and remained in that position until being hired at ESPN in 2000. During his time with ESPN he served as an anchor on College GameNight, ESPNEWS, Baseball Tonight and SportsCenter. He was also a host on the popular ESPN shows College Football Live and NFL Live. Currently Reiss serves as the voice of the athletic program at his alma mater, Stanford University. He is also an anchor at Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Comcast SportsNet California, where he hosts pregame and postgame shows for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Golden State Warriors and San Jose Sharks. His other duties include serving as a host for SportsNet Central.
