About Scott Speed
Scott Speed’s last name is more than appropriate considering he is one of the best drivers of all-time. Speed got his start in big-time racing in 2004 and captured both the 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup and Germany Championships. In 2005 he became a test driver for Red Bull on the Formula One racing circuit. He’d eventually become a full-time driver in Formula One for Toro Rosso and compete in 28 events during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. In 2008 he moved up to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and competed in 16 races, winning the 2008 AAA Insurance 200 and finishing with 9 top ten finishes during his one year stint. Since that time he has competed in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity series, bringing home 13 top ten finishes in 147 career races. Speed’s best finishes have come at the 2013 AdvoCare 500 and at the 2012 Feed The Children 300 in which he finished in the top 30. In 2014 Speed found his niche in RallyCross, bringing home a gold medal from the 2014 Summer X-Games in Austin, Texas.
