About Sha'Carri Richardson
Sha'Carri Richardson is a top American sprinter and one of the fastest women in the world. Richardson first made her presence known in track & field while at college at LSU. She won the 100 meters while finishing second in the 200 m and 4x100 m relay at the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. In 2021, Richardson further became a favorite with the public when she placed first in the 100 m at the U.S. Olympic Trials after losing her biological mother just a week before. She became the youngest woman to win the race at Trials since 1980. In addition to her amazing speed, Richardson is also known for her bold style that is influenced by Team USA legend, Florence Griffith-Joyner.
