Sixto Sanchez is a reliable force in the starting rotation for the Miami Marlins. Sanchez originally joined the Marlins organization in 2019 via trade and was named to the All-Star Futures Game roster. He made his major league debut during a 2020 season that saw Miami return to the playoffs for the first time since 2003. Sanchez came up in baseball through the Philadelphia Phillies organization who originally signed him as an international free agent in 2014. He was originally considered the team's top prospect and one of the best in baseball before the trade to the Marlins.
