About Snoop Minnis
Snoop Minnis is a former wide receiver for the NFL and CFL. Minnis attended Florida State University where he played football from 1997-2000. He led the Seminoles in receptions during his senior season. As a senior, Minnis was named First-team All-ACC and was recognized as a Consensus All-American. The Kansas City Chiefs selected Minnis in the third round as the 77th overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. Minnis played 15 games for the Chiefs in 2001 and 2002. He was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins, but was never officially on the team. Minnis played in 15 games in the NFL and started 11. He recorded 34 receptions, 515 receiving yards and one touchdown. In 2005, Minnis played for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. Minnis retired from football in 2005 and shortly after, he joined Lexus as a salesman. Minnis also served as the wide receivers coach at Everglades High School in Miramar.
