Sophie Cunningham is an American basketball player in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever. Hailing from Columbia, Missouri, she went on to play for the hometown Mizzou Tigers from 2014 to 2019, earning All-SEC First Team honors in 2018 and 2019. She is a prolific scorer, setting the program’s record for most points scored at 1,994. She was drafted ninth overall by the Phoenix Mercury, where she enjoyed a five-year career before taking a year to play down under with the Melbourne Boomers. She is now a teammate of Caitlin Clark in Indianapolis.
