About Steve Mesler
Steve Mesler is a former American bobsledder from Buffalo, New York. As a 3-time Olympian, World Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist, Mesler has a lot to be proud of. Mesler graduated from the University of Florida in 2000 with honors with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science. While attending the University of Florida, Mesler competed for the Gators in track and field. He went on to win World Championships in the four-man event in 2004 in Germany and 2009 in Lake Placid, New York. In the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Mesler won a gold medal as a pusher for driver Steve Holcomb’s U.S. Olympic team, earning the United States the first gold medal in the four-man event in 62 years. Mesler is also the co-founder, President and CEO of Classroom Champions, an international award winning non-profit educational organization. In addition, he has done philanthropic work with the Ronald McDonald House, Make a Wish Foundation, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Peace and Support, and Right To Play.
