About Swin Cash
Swin Cash is a former WNBA player who played for four different teams. Cash debuted with the Detroit Shock and contributing her remarkable rebound skills to the Seattle Storm, Chicago Sky, Atlanta Dream, and New York Liberty. Before the WNBA, Cash had a passion for theater and drama in high school. She participated in numerous school plays yet ultimately went on to the University of Connecticut to lead the Huskies to the NCAA Women’s Division I Basketball Championship in both 2000 and 2002. After being inducted into the women’s basketball “Huskies of Honor” recognition program, Cash was chosen second overall in the 2002 WNBA draft. In addition to her 15 seasons in the WNBA, Cash also won two Olympic gold medals. One of the most impressive things about Cash and the passions she has in life is that even throughout her professional basketball career, she never lost her high school passion for entertainment, as she has appeared as a studio analyst on ESPN’s NBA Fastbreak and has also made an appearance in the movie Bring It On: All or Nothing.
