About Ted Hendricks
Ted Hendricks is a former NFL linebacker and current NFL Hall of Famer. After a spectacular career at the University of Miami, including multiple All-American and All-Conference honors, Hendricks was drafted in the second round of the 1969 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Colts. Hendricks would spend 14 years in the NFL, playing for the Baltimore Colts, the Green Bay Packers, and the Oakland Raiders, being named to the Pro Bowl eight times, at least once with each team. Hendricks also won four Super Bowls, three with the Raiders and one with the Colts. Hendricks retired in 1983, finishing his illustrious career with 60.5 sacks and 26 interceptions.He is widely considered to be one of the greatest defensive players in the history of the NFL,and was ranked 82nd overall in the top 100 player’s poll by the NFL Network. In his second year of eligibility, Hendricks was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame, cementing him into eternal greatness in NFL history.
