About T.J. Hockenson
T.J. Hockenson is a tight end for the Minnesota Vikings. Hockenson was the first player chosen at his position in the 2019 NFL Draft when the Detroit Lions selected him eighth overall. He played two seasons at the University of Iowa and developed into one of the best tight ends of the country. In 2018, he won the John Mackey Award and the Ozzie Newsome Award. He was also named first-team All-Big Ten and was the receipient of the conference's Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year award. That final year with the Hawkeyes, Hockenson caught 46 passes for 717 yards and six touchdowns.
