About Tom Jackson
Tom Jackson always dreamed of playing at Ohio State University, but the Buckeyes coaching staff said he was too small. So, the undersized Jackson did what any player who had his dream crushed would do, he became an all-conference player at the University of Louisville and went on to have a highly successful career in the NFL. After being selected in the 4th round of the 1973 NFL Draft he played 13 seasons with the Denver Broncos and earned four All-Pro selections to go along with three Pro-Bowl appearances. As one of the Bronco’s leaders, he helped them win two AFC Championships in 1977 and 1986 and became a member of the Denver Broncos 50th Anniversary Team. Upon his retirement he became a broadcaster spent years as one of ESPN's top football personalities on their hit show NFL Countdown.
