About Trent Bray
Trent Bray has his dream job as the head football coach at his alma mater, Oregon State. Bray was promoted to the job after two seasons serving as the Beavers defensive coordinator. He originally rejoined the program as linebackers coach in 2018. Bray had previously coached linebackers at Nebraska for three seasons and had a brief stint as the interim head coach of the program.
Bray had his first coaching stint at OSU from 2012-14 as a graduate assistant and linebackers coach under Mike Riley before he left to lead the Huskers. He also spent time on the staff at Arizona State and the California Redwoods of the defunct United Football League.
Bray is one of the all-time great defensive players in Oregon State history. He was a two-time All-Pac 10 selection, finishing his career with 337 tackles. He also collected 29 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and made 33 consecutive starts at OSU.
