Trevor Story

Trevor Story is an All-Star shortstop for the Boston Red Sox. Story earned All-Star bids and Silver Slugger Awards with the Colorado Rockies in 2018 and 2019. He had one of the most memorable debuts in baseball history on Opening Day as the Rockies starting shortstop on April 4, 2016. In his second major league at-bat, he recorded his first career hit, a three-run home run off of Zack Greinke. He then hit another home run in his next plate appearance, also off of Greinke. He was only the seventh player to hit two home runs in one game against Greinke and the sixth player in MLB history to hit two home runs on his debut. The following day, Story hit another home run. He thus became only the third player ever to hit three home runs in his first two games. On his third day in the major leagues, he hit a two-run home run off Arizona's Patrick Corbin, becoming the first player in MLB history to hit a home run in each of his first three games and a home run in each of his first four hits.
