About Troy Glaus
Troy Glaus was one of the best third basemen of his era and a star early in his career for the Anaheim Angels. Glaus originally debuted with the Angels in 1998 and made three of his four All-Star appearances during seven seasons with the club. He won back-to-back Silver Slugger Awards in 2000 and 2001. During his first Silver Slugger campaign, Glaus led the American League and set a team record with 47 home runs. In 2002, he won World Series MVP as Anaheim beat the San Francisco Giants in seven games. Following his time with the Angels, Glaus was still a feared hitter and spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. He retired following the 2010 season.
