About Troy Polamalu
Troy Polamalu was a professional football player in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Troy began his career in football when he was in college at the University of Southern California. While there he earned consensus All-American honors. His production on the field was noticed by the Steelers, and in the 2003 NFL Draft, he was selected as the 16th overall pick. Polamalu played his entire professional career with the Steelers and his contributions to the team have earned him 8 Pro Bowl selection, 6 All-Pro nods, and the 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. His career numbers, which include 770 tackles and 12 quarterback sacks aided Pittsburgh in winning 2 Super Bowl titles. For all he brought to the organization Troy was also named to the Pittsburgh Steelers All-Time Team and was team's MVP in 2010.
