Deep in the heart of Texas, Von Miller played football for high school powerhouse DeSoto High School where he was a 4-star linebacker on the Eagles defense. Coming out of high school, he attended Texas A&M University where he made an immediate impact as a freshman defensive end, making the Freshman All-Big 12 team. By his junior year, Miller was an All-American linebacker/end hybrid player and was wreaking havoc on opposing offenses. As an outside linebacker his senior year, he recorded 10.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss on his way to winning the Butkus Award as the nation’s top linebacker.

Miller could have been a second-round pick following his junior season but entered the 2011 NFL Draft following his senior season. He was selected with the 2nd overall pick by the Denver Broncos. Miller grew to become one of the most dominant defensive players of his generation, eight Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro choices. He also led the Broncos to Super Bowl 50 and was named MVP of the game. After over a decade in Denver, Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 and helped them win the Super Bowl. He signed with the Buffalo Bills that following offseason.
