About Wayne Gandy
Wayne Gandy had a distinguished 15 year career as an offensive lineman in the NFL. He started 205 games and played for the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons. Gandy was a captain for the Falcons in 2007. The Rams originally selected him with the 15th pick in the 1995 NFL Draft. At Auburn, Gandy was a consensus first-team All-American his senior year and the Tigers went undefeated. He is from Haines City, Florida and played at Haines City High School. The Wayne Gandy Foundation hosts an array of events for his hometown community. Gandy’s free football and cheerleading camp is an annual tradition in Haines City that brings out tons of current and ex-NFL players. He has also done broadcast work in his post-playing career and hosts The Sports Joc show online every Monday from 9am-12pm.
