About Willis McGahee
Willis McGahee was one of the best NFL running backs in the 2000s. His career with the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, and Cleveland Browns was highlighted by two trips to the Pro Bowl. McGahee was a first round pick of the Bills in 2003, but had to overcome the odds to see the field. In his final college game at Miami, the 2002 BCS National Championship, he tore three ligaments in his knee. McGahee would rehab and go on to collect 1,128 yards and 13 touchdowns in his rookie season, earning Comeback Player of the Year honors. He would rush for 1,000 yards three other times in his career. In his final season with the Canes, McGahee was a Heisman finalist, a unanimous All-American, and the Big East Offensive Player of the Year. His 282 carries for 1,753 yards and 28 touchdowns broke several school records. McGahee is a Miami native that attended high school at Miami Central.
