About Sid Bream
Sid Bream had an 11-year big league career spent with four different National League franchises. The Los Angeles Dodgers originally selected Bream in the second round of the 1981 MLB Draft. He spent three seasons with the Dodgers before being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. While in Pittsburgh, he became an everyday first baseman. Bream went on to play in two World Series with the Atlanta Braves and make his mark forever on the franchise. In Game 7 of the 1992 National League Championship Series, he was able to score the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to send Atlanta to the Fall Classic. Bream spent one more year with the Braves and a final season with the Houston Astros before retiring. He currently serves as the Corporate Chaplain for PGT Trucking.
