About Archie Bradley
Archie Bradley is a relief pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. The Arizona Diamondbacks originally selected him out of high school with the seventh overall pick of the 2011 MLB Draft. Bradley first debuted in the big leagues as a member of the Opening Day roster in 2015. In his first career start, he pitched six shutout innings, giving up just one hit and striking out six. Arizona defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-0 in the game and Bradley outdueled reigning National League Cy Young and Most Valuable Player winner, Clayton Kershaw. Due to injury, he made just eight starts during his rookie campaign but bounced back to pitch a full 2016 season. During that season, Bradley started 26 games and went 8-9 with a 5.02 ERA.
