About Bob Griese
Bob Griese is one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time. Prior to making it to the NFL, Bob played college ball at Purdue where he was a three sport athlete including football, baseball, and basketball. It was during this time that Griese improved his throwing ability and is why he is ranked number nine in all-time scoring at Purdue. His effectiveness on the field earned him a spot in the College Football Hall of Fame. In his rookie year with the Miami Dolphins, after being the fourth selection in the 1967 draft, Bob recorded 2,005 yards and 15 touchdowns in his rookie campaign and became an All-Star in his first two seasons. Griese amassed a total of 25,092 passing yards in his career in route to leading the Dolphins to three consecutive Super Bowl appearances including two victories. He is also a 6 time Pro Bowl selection and a Pro Football Hall of Fame member. Following his retirement Bob continued to be a part of the game he loved by being a commentator for college football on ESPN.
