Bob Quinn

Bob Quinn was hired as the Detroit Lions executive vice president and general manager in 2016, serving in that capacity until 2020. He produced immediate results, changing over 40 percent of the roster on the way to a playoff berth in his first year on the job. The players that Quinn selected in the 2016 NFL Draft ended up playing in 108 games, which led all teams in the postseason. Before arriving in Detroit, he spent 16 seasons learning the ins and outs of a front office with the New England Patriots. Quinn ultimately rose to the position of director of pro scouting. During that time, the Patriots won four straight AFC East Division titles and Super Bowl XLIX. He began his tenure with the Patriots in 2000 as a player personnel assistant. Quinn saw the franchise win four Super Bowls and six AFC Championship Games. Prior to joining New England, he spent two years as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, the University of Connecticut.
