About Cam Neely

Cam Neely played 14 seasons in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks and Boston Bruins. During his career he posted one of the highest goals per game averages in history, with his hard, accurate shot, quick release, and his willingness to engage in the more physical aspects of the game being the reason for his success. From 1983 to 1996 he earned five All-Star selections and scored 395 goals to go along with 299 assists for a total of 694 regular season points. In the playoffs he scored another 57 goals and added another 32 assists. After his retirement the Bruins brought him on as their President of operations. In addition to his hockey career he was also a successful actor, making an appearance as Sea Bass in the hit movie Dumb and Dumber. Neely was recognized for his achievements with induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005.
